I’ve been aspiring to be one of the Project Managers in my current company. I truly admire those project managers even those which are not from my same project as they inspire me to be one of them. In business meetings, you would observe that they are fully composed and asks intelligent questions which leads to driving the project’s success. Finally, my boss announced that I will be given a project management role to manage a small project in Baltimore. This will be very exciting and challenging for me. But the company won’t let me dive in without equipping me with the right gear. They have enrolled me to a project management training at Primavera Training – USA. My former project manager tells me a lot of inspiring stories about the training, though I know that he was also trying to get me fully psyched for the training. He said he got his training via Primavera training – Canada, which, should be just one and same with what I’ll be getting. I’m so excited to this new role but at the same time have some jitters and cold feet going on but I need not to worry because for sure I will be getting the best training to equip me on this new adventure. Just recently, I have learned that it was not only me who will be trained at this same time. There are six other new Project Manager aspirants like me who are enrolled in the training. That said, I just got a note that I am enrolled in an Internal Primavera training which is actually an on-site training together with the six other aspirants enrolled in the same program. The training will start in a month and I’m sure I will be learning a lot, confirming my ideas, correcting my thoughts, and finally get fully equipped to take on this new role of mine.
