MY LAST POST ON SETTLING DOWN

Yes folks I still have the house settling problems left to resolve. Things always seem to creep out one way or the other in to me, and my wife would n stop me unless they are resolved. after i found the pool services i was seriously hoping to find solace in television shows, but as you might have expected i got another thing going against me.

After all these years i found not a single problem with my air conditioning machine but it happened now , just one week after it went through its warranty expiry. Is this irony of life or is it the humour that god derives from his creations?, you will never know, but i was keen on finishing job before new year .

i went around the town for getting a new electrician to fix it and fix it he did. but he said he could only install it after new year since he was working on his day off. Coming out dejected i found Maryland air conditioning installation and felt like a man seeing oasis in Sahara.
Got my machine fixed and mounted on wall. now i double checked every single thing in my house that can bother me any more and was convinced of a silent and comfortable new year. Just one more day to go please may it go in peace and may i have a good new year. If it doesn't then fuck it.I will deal with it after new year now i am outty

SETTLING FOR THE NEW YEAR IN A NEW PLACE

Hi friends as i said before i could not frequently write on topics like I used to do before. The shifting and settling has been very tasking and i think i am closing down on it. The pests and rodents are taken care of thanks to the timely help by the neighbors. My computer is back in working condition fortunately it did not suffer any data retrieving problems. The arrangements of households are almost done but for the kitchen, that is my wife's kingdom and just like any other husband i dare not mess with a women's taste.

she said she would take care of all the indoor arrangements of furniture, placement if television, carom board. She was also keen and choosy on placement of decorative pictures on the wall. Even though i felt humiliated by the thought of being treated as a moron this is quite easy for me with out any work just sipping on the beer. watching some sports .
Just when i was about to adore my wife on these grounds . she gave me one good work to do , the new house is has not been used for some time so it needs solar pond aerators to make the pond , pool and fountains work. Couldn't this woman get a house that is not provided with pools, ponds and fountains? I never asked my Realtor these things . I am yet to go on a spree to by these but i swear if it weren't for these pond aerating machines in life, no one would think of pools and ponds as a luxury - they will just be a mere pain in the nose.

NEW HOUSE BLUES - 2

Hi friends hope u guys had a wonderful Christmas, except for the guys in Ottawa, who got caught in the blizzard. I had a wonderful time here so couldn't write for the past two days, hope you good people will forgive me .

This entry again deals with the problems faced when moving in to a new house, as u know i just checked in to a house last week. The new problems and commitments posed by the new house seems never to cease. After the setting and settling of things in the new house, this new problems of roaches and pests started to haunt me . luckily my neighbor was a sweet person and he guided me how to take on this problem before it gets too complicated. he asked me a couple of drugs and pesticides for the roaches, organic fire ant killer drug for the ants bigger size. but what he missed was the rodents .

They were every where and have been living in this place for a whole long time since my previous occupant has left this place. NEW HOUSE BLUES

Finally the shifting , packing and arranging of furniture and things in the new house was done.And just as i expected the next work was the biggest , i forgot almost a dozen important things , lost half a dozen utensils and broke two chairs while all these transportation and arranging work.This work suddenly dawned on me, spending more money made me cringe but the mere thought of staying peaceful after that made me go the distance.

I went to the near by provisions store to get some books and papers to relax before i plan. applied for my internet which they promised to do before that evening.The yellow pages magazine i saw there was the best book i have seen in a while , i saw the advertisement readingsee contemporary vanity deals here, i went and saw that advert among many others. we decide to break up and never meet again but not with any bad feelings to each other. it has been a long time after that ,i dated three other girls , out of whom one was over the top, second was just another big bosom dumbo and the third went to jail for a hate crime.Even though this was a bad run i never thought of meeting her and making up with her again. at least this was more interesting than being in a relationship with yourself.

after a long time i found her user name in a discussion thread in some online political forums, i was confused to make the move. Just when i decided to make the move ahead, i got buzz from her asking if it was really me. then we spoke a lot , this went exactly like our first date, we were speaking like we were dating for the first time . but when i asked her , if we could meet some where, she refused. she said i am afraid we might end up together again. after a fashion i got the thought too, and we both decided not to meet again and also change out user name on online portals.

MY EXPERIMENTS WITH RUTH 2

First i made feeble attempts to act cool and behave with a suave. but i got easy as we got closer during the course , you wouldn't believe we moved in together ftter just three weeks of dating without sex!!!!. when i spoke with about breaking her she told the exact same thing what i was about to say, but she said she is seeing another guy, which i least expected .this however gave me a chance to fight with her and break up. But she never had any friction to give and start the duel finally it was a break up by mutual consent. only i was the dork being cheated by his girl , as bad as it soundsit wasn't that hard to handle it .( to be concluded....)

One of the most confused or unanticipated relationships in earth are the ones that we have with our ex girl friends. We part in mutual grudge often citing her problems , she will do the same but after a while we grow out of the grudge. when we meet them some where outside, we are confused whether she is still mad or has she put the past behind her just like you. so the conversation begins very awkward ( naturally ends so) .

Having said all this , i chanced up on my ex girlfriend Ruth today. Though her name sounds like she has been from some medieval kingdom, she actually is a keeper and hails from northern Utah. I met her while looking for classes in pals online course site office , and started chatting through the net.I think this is the most laziest way of getting hooked up. And some how i don't understand how do nowadays women find these lazy guy's pick up impressive .Anyway we were all together in a fraternity and she finally gave me a date.

To be honest , i was hoping for the worst . even if it was some creature like gorgon i wouldn't have been surprised , after all i never moved a finger and i hate thinking too much in to it . so then i went over to the Starbucks, where she was sitting like a superstar, man she was more than i could handle .( to be continued....)

SHIFTING GETS ROUGH

I believe last post was made in reference to the house shifting and how the city life has become too unsafe for the older folks like me. This is yet another post reiterating that particular fact.

My computer along with my son's laptop was inside a bag , which i kept inside a box for ease of transportation, since its been a while since my son has used his laptop it needed a reboot and eventually a free virus protection download from the internet if possible . This whole bag of my computers and the paraphernalia associated with it was lost during the transportation. not just lost but lost without a trace. But the company was courteous enough to pay me more than what the bag was worth. even though i did not pay the insurance in the first place .

But what happened to all my data that was gone with my computer???. i had a back up drive ready, which i kept in a different bag , but in a hypothetical situation . loss of data is a very huge occurrence which might cause serious repercussions. now my question is , will the insurance companies be ready to insure for the data preventing its loss and pay the policy holder the money in compensation , in case of such happening . insurance companies should come up with good plans to sort out this problem.

finally, i have decided to move to a better house , the place i've been living for a while has turned to be totally uninhabitable with increasing rates of rent and the water problem. considering all these shortcomings , i dont think staying in the sub urban neighborhood will cause you many problems other than the distance and travel.

this plan was done last Saturday and every one in my block seemed happy that i was leaving . the packers and movers by the name Montague movers came in . they did the whole packing from kitchen to furniture s to mantel clocks to closets and every thing in a matter of four hours and we were rolling .

sweet memories of this place but sadly its becoming too expensive for me. also i feel the city life is getting too fast for me. if not now some day i might have ended making this obvious decision. last thoughts city was not a safe and easy place for old people. . that's why we live in a place called the burbs which better in every single way imaginable.

the curious case of benjamin bhutan

last week i chanced up on my school mate Benjamin, we shared the same school and were also the hostel room mates . He is from Bhutan and often claims that he is a big shot there( though no other Bhutan guy seemed to know his name or even identify his place native).

but we did have an interesting bout between this guy and a patel from Gujarat. patel is usually the most boisterous of the gang and we all fear to mess with him. he especially hated south Indians and east Indians. this once happened when Benjamin bunked school saying Health Depression, while patel was also staying in campus hospital for some reason , mistook Ben to be some east Indian guy and started using slang terms bordering on racist. my friend never knew hostility between us before and he warned patel stop doing so.

patel felt this very provocative and started hitting him . just exactly when the smaller built, shorter stature patel made moves like Bruce lee and within minutes made patel weep in the hospital floor. it was then we all asked about it for which he said he is local champion of kung fu in his country . from then on the geeky benjamin got better respect. and i was treated with more respect for being the room mate and best friend of this awesome fighter

Name transfer for my car

as I've been telling for a month's time now , i finally bought a ford Taurus car en, diesel version. this is the best car in mileage comfort and quality. i bought a used car with the price cut so i made the best possible deal. the car is great driving and owning experience especially in the cities i feel like sitting in my own private place.
but the only problem arose when i began to apply to change the name of that registered vehicle from the name of the previous owner to mine , this turned out to be a very tedious process , the government authorities have taken a great deal of my time in a working day( i went on loss of pay) . once i somehow got over it then came the bigger work of changing the insurance claimer name , my previous owner was a dork and he has not given all the papers signed . i went over met him and asked his required sign, then went to office which was closed due to labor strike indefinitely. the best i could do was to give my car a Temporary Insurance while i wait for all the problem circling the government is over this was however a quicker and easier process , i am happy that at least those labor's were courteous enough to give me this at least , even though i don't know the demands of their strike , i support them. come on any one this considerate and articulate can't be wrong , now can they?!

the trade fair experience

one would be living in a den if he/she did not know about the trade fair that has been going around the city, i was flooded with information about the new attractions and features of the trade fair in the city. but honestly i think this is just a repercussion of boosting up the sale of consumer good, which has met a great deal of slump after the recession period .
having said this i did not abstain from going and visiting that place after all i just got curious and wanted to see if any thing the advertisements claim holds any truth ( to my surprise they were !!!) . after spending some time in the books shop and reading some comics , i wanted to go to some place which is glossy to look the customers attitude towards the fair , the one could see right next to the book shop was the board beds for sale. i went inside the customers were all interested but only a very few were spending money on the fair. understanding this was not a big thing of intrigue as i can see the guys lost their jobs and , with the bankruptcy reports they are all scared to shit about their investments . they are in no mood to go on a shopping spree but nevertheless these trade fair makes them come out of their condos , interact and at least get some fresh air ,

When men are asked about it they say they are all working in a very competitive environment and they needed to look their best in any job for their betterment , so the negative thinking and imaging of women are not necessary any more lets be more fair to them and accept that we men too are conscious and self grooming folk , come on after all good looks is some thing every one craves for , some times we can redeem thinking of ugly duckling stories only this time we change in a parlor rather than with age .

I must tell all my readers about a funny incident that happened today. Well, it was not just funny but it was painful as well (not too much though :) ). I just came back to my house after going for a long drive on my horse, Zak. He was very energetic today but he totally drained the energy out of me. Anyway, after that long ride, I just came home and dropped dead on my chair. And to my surprise, the chair broke and I fell down. I was pretty shocked to see that the chair that I had bought only a few months back had gotten into such a bad shape. I called the shop from where I had bought the chair and blasted those guys like anything. Just when I was about to end the call, I saw that there were some termites in my chair. I was shocked even further. I profusely apologized to the chair sellers and went to analyze the situation. The termites had eaten through most of the chair. In fact, they had been doing this for the past few months and I had failed to notice them completely. I practically ran out and bought some termite bait to lure these critters away from the place. I also checked the whole house thoroughly for the presence of any more termites, and thankfully, there were none.
